How Coffee Can Get Rid Of Cellulite
BY J.S. VON DACRE
Men don't get cellulite... God might just be a man. RITA RUTNER
Sounds too good to be true? According to experts, coffee can certainly help, although sorry to disappoint the coffee drinkers, but it has nothing to do with making a brew.
Caffeine is renown for possessing wonderful antioxidants, which also helps with the production of collagen. When massaged onto the body, it helps to improve circulation and therefore creates the appearance of smoother, tighter skin. And of course, it is an added bonus for those who love that freshly ground coffee scent!
Now, before you decide to completely ditch your gym membership, be advised that this is a not a permanent measure. While it will certainly improve the appearance of cellulite, it would not completely abolish it. Nonetheless, if you need a quick fix or need to be bikini ready, then take note of the recipe below.
1 small cup of ground coffee
1 small cup of brown sugar
½ cup of coconut oil
Mix all ingredients together. If you make too much, don’t worry–it should last well and you can store it in a jar. Use as a normal body scrub and massage it onto your body whilst in the shower. Rinse off and once you have dried yourself, apply your favourite lotion. Do this a couple times a week. (Depending on your skin type, you can do it more if you wish).
And for those of us who are completely lazy, feel free to stop by your nearest body shop. You may be lucky enough to find ready-made coffee body scrub in stock!
